Plot
Since the death of the previous king, the lions of the Pridelands joined together in order to survive the famine. They hunted for each other before the heat and lack of prey was too overwhelming and they were forced to move to a new home, the Kingdom, and dropped the magnificent title of King and Queen of all. Instead, they split back into three groups, the Lights, the Darks, and the Neutrals, and allowed each allignment to have one large piece of territory where the King and Queen of that group would live. The other lions who were not 'fit' to live with those higher moved on and created their own Prides.
Although the famine had not reached the Kingdom, the gorgeous land was victim to many floods and thunderstorms. One era had ended, but only to bring a new, much more dangerous one.

Although Spring has just arrived, the Sahara is as hot as ever. Rain clouds can be seen far off in the distance, but lions have no need to worry about floods...yet, that is. Everyone should be taking advantage of the abundant prey - it won't last for long!
