She loved her brother - she had no choice - but she hated his sick, twisted ways. Everything about him was cruel, giving no mercy to the lions and lionesses that passed over the border, even if it was not by will. For all she knew, a lion of his Pride could push a Light pass the perimeter and be killed! And for what? The love of death? That was Disturbed, King of the Darks.

Yet Deception had no liking of the Lights, like her brother, Anaru. He was so kind, and so young! He did not even understand her witty jokes, and would simply laugh along with a sheepish glance. He was a loner now, born into a Dark Pride but pushed out because of his showing of emotion.

But Deception showed no emotion, and that is why she had stayed. The way she spoke wasn't exactly classified as 'Dark', but witty, and her body language was always nice and kind-hearted. She had always meaned well, despite all the trouble that she ~~gets~~ had gotten into in the past. She was a joker, a nothing could distort her personality like it could her body. Why, with a simple swipe of a claw, her eye could be ripped out.

What forced her to the Royal Neutral Land border she didn't know, but she stood confidently there with the knowledge that she wouldn't (hopefully) be murdered before even setting paw over the perimeter. However, she didn't expect to be let in kindly either.

The Staff: Deception-Admin As you can see, Lion's Pride is a tad short on staff members. Standings Dark Royals - Disturbed Light Royals - Tybalt Neutral Royals - Jagger	Plot CURRENT MOON lunar phase Since the death of the previous king, the lions of the Pridelands joined together in order to survive the famine. They hunted for each other before the heat and lack of prey was too overwhelming and they were forced to move to a new home, the Kingdom, and dropped the magnificent title of King and Queen of all. Instead, they split back into three groups, the Lights, the Darks, and the Neutrals, and allowed each allignment to have one large piece of territory where the King and Queen of that group would live. The other lions who were not 'fit' to live with those higher moved on and created their own Prides. Although the famine had not reached the Kingdom, the gorgeous land was victim to many floods and thunderstorms. One era had ended, but only to bring a new, much more dangerous one.	Information Season: Spring Mating: Yes Birthing: No Although Spring has just arrived, the Sahara is as hot as ever. Rain clouds can be seen far off in the distance, but lions have no need to worry about floods...yet, that is. Everyone should be taking advantage of the abundant prey - it won't last for long!
