All rules must be followed, or else you risk the consequence of a temporary suspension or even a permanent ban! So, here they are:

OOC Rules

Swearing is not allowed in OOC posts unless you 'bleep' it out. For example, use these: ***.
Keep all personal information to yourself. No one on this game should be giving out their address, phone number, cell, or school name. This rule is for your own safety.
In addition to the rule above, do not fill out the 'Location' part of your profile unless you put something odd or unreal. (Example: 'The Land of Oz' or 'In My Swirly Chair.')
Porn, drug use, alcohol, smoking and 'overly intimate' stuff is strictly prohibited on this site! You will be banned if caught posting or holding a discussion on any inappropriate subjects. All links are checked!
Although this rule is kind of stupid, please do not put numbers or inappropriate spacers in your username. Keep it simple.
Our Activity Check systym is unique: we message you instead of posting a thread. Always keep an eye on your PMs and the Calendar! Exceptions to players I know are active, but still...if you are mysteriously deleted from the site, don't go blaming us.
If you are going away for some time, please post in the absence board! This way if you are gone while there is an Activity Check in progress, staff know not to delete you.
If you get into an argument with another member, please, please, please contact a staff member! If you don't, there's a possibility that you will both get in trouble, and that wouldn't be good, would it? If you get into an argument with a staff member, please contact me and I will sort things out!
Don't go pretending you're some celebrity. In other words - No impersonations! It's rude and annoying, so just don't do it.
You may only have one account. Any others will be deleted and you will be suspended for a little while. This is simply to avoid confusion and keep everybody in order.
Although it's not mandatory, it would be appreciated if you put all of the names and ranks of your lions in your signature. Pictures are allowed too, but only one image of a LION. No humans, wolves, cats, dogs, anything!

IC Rules

Swearing is allowed in IC posts, but keep it to a minimum and do not abuse this privilage. It WILL be taken away.
No more lands will be made unless you pay some Player Points at the Players' Shop. If you want a terra, fight for it!
Don't have ten characters if you can't keep them all active. Inactive characters will be deleted if they are not posted within three weeks.
Liquid time is allowed, but don't have your character in six different posts at once. It's confusing. Instead, the limit is two or three posts, so don't be going overboard.
We all expect basic grammar here, so d0nt g0 tAlk1ng l1ke th1$. It's hard to understand, and very annoying.
As much as I hate puting this rule down, it is only necessary that we have a posting limit. The minimum size of post you can have is four lines - and that's being genereous. For those role-players who are more experienced than others, we'd like to have some posts to reply to. Give details. We want to know your lion's thoughts, movements and tone of voice!
One mate per character, unless you plan to have a male be a rapist loner in the breeding grounds. Otherwise, the Alpha has an Alphess (his lover), and so forth going down the ranks.
It's quality over quanity. If you can't make all of your posts long and fun to read, we'd rather see short exciting posts than long boring ones. Have fun when you're playing, it's what LP2 is here for!
No god-moding or powerplaying. This rule is pretty much everywhere, so obey it.
Characters with all black fur, spots as an adult, or any other unnatural colorings will not be accepted. As the game progresses, the plotline will eventually change and we may or may not do something along the lines of magic.
Try to have unique names that aren't common. Try finding some online name generators if you're having some trouble. We will not accept characters named "Stephanie" or "Taylor." If you have to, change the spelling of the name so it is at the least different.

Breeding and Fighting Rules

Both graphic breeding and fighting are allowed, but a warning must be put in the thread title, such as [G] or *. Either way, don't abuse this privilage and go too in-depth. Lion's Pride is NOT here to disgust or turn our players and guests away with inappropriate posts.
When fighting, you can only pose the attacks. For example, saying "[lion'snamehere] leapt at [otherlion'sname] and bit his neck, tearing away skin and making the other lose a ton of blood." Instead for a better sentence, try this: "[Lion'snamehere] lunged for [Otherlion's namehere]'s throat, aiming for the jugular vein." Sure, it's not as graphic, but it is a better sentence and it stops any arguments between players in its tracks.
The password to create your character is 'outland'
Breeding can only take place in the appropriate place, and the same goes for really big fights. Small duels can be held elsewhere. Breeding is forbidden in unclaimed lands and Pride territories!

The Staff: Deception-Admin As you can see, Lion's Pride is a tad short on staff members. Standings Dark Royals - Disturbed Light Royals - Tybalt Neutral Royals - Jagger	Plot CURRENT MOON lunar phase Since the death of the previous king, the lions of the Pridelands joined together in order to survive the famine. They hunted for each other before the heat and lack of prey was too overwhelming and they were forced to move to a new home, the Kingdom, and dropped the magnificent title of King and Queen of all. Instead, they split back into three groups, the Lights, the Darks, and the Neutrals, and allowed each allignment to have one large piece of territory where the King and Queen of that group would live. The other lions who were not 'fit' to live with those higher moved on and created their own Prides. Although the famine had not reached the Kingdom, the gorgeous land was victim to many floods and thunderstorms. One era had ended, but only to bring a new, much more dangerous one.	Information Season: Spring Mating: Yes Birthing: No Although Spring has just arrived, the Sahara is as hot as ever. Rain clouds can be seen far off in the distance, but lions have no need to worry about floods...yet, that is. Everyone should be taking advantage of the abundant prey - it won't last for long!
