It was chilly outside with the storm clouds slowly advancing over the lands where Anaru stood. His mane was ruffled by the breeze which cooled the terra down the most. Slowly, he moved forward, eyes squinted as the wind picked up and died down. He knew already that this was going to be an interesting day.

Paw after paw was set to the ground, indenting slightly. Anaru yawned. He was so tired of his contant journey to nowhere, but in a way, he knew that it was almost over. It was a feeling in his stomach that he did not bother to turn away, a good one at that, and it pleasured him to feel that relief. To experience the feeling of happiness that his quest seemed to be ending soon.

A scent passed Anaru's nose, making his ears thingy forward with curiosity. A female, was it? His pace quickened as he turned to the direction of the scent, and he set of to find her.

Anaru's grin broadened as the she-cat introduced herself, and he nodded when he said that finding a meal was not a problem. She seemed confident in herself, a good feature in a Pride leader. Yet at the same time she was friendly and polite, a typical light lioness. But to Anaru, such a young, successful female was much more than typical.

My calling is Anaru, he said when he found it the right time to introduce himself. His golden eyes blinked and danced with a burning determination to join the Pride. I've come to live in this land, if you'd have me.

The same happiness surged through Anaru's body as Kiara welcomed him into the land. That feeling was replaced by surprise when he felt her tongue against his jaw and her paw over his ear - it took a moment for the brute to realize that the lioness wanted to play like cubs. He pelted after her, long legs gliding swiftly over the plains until he found himself right behind the lioness. She had a good start, and that sudden burst of speed used a lot of energy on Anaru's pelt. He continued to trot along and nipped playfully at her tail, careful not to bite hard.
