A large brute walked the forest. His dark eyes scanned the outside border of the forest. He was hidden in the forest. But he could see everything clearly. His scanned the tall grasses, until he saw a slight movement in the grass. He stopped and examined closer. As he flared his nostrils another scent entered them. A brute. Another lion on his lands. What now, another stupid idiotic worthless piece of crap entering his land. This time he wouldn't be so soft. He was already annoyed with the lion that had entered his lands earlier. Who had just entered to annoy the hell out of the brute.

From where he stood he let out a massive roar. But remained hidden in the tall bush. His dark eyes would be clearly seen. And with that if the lion were to look closer he would see a larger outline of a lion. He waited to see how the lion would react.

Slowly he unsheated his claws. Waiting in silence. The wind was in his favor blowing toward him, so the lion would only scent a faint scent of the brute. The grass swayed and the large brute could see a bit more of the lion. He himself did not move but stood in silence, like a statue.

"Why should I show myself. Aren't I the king of this land, of this pride. Isn't I who showed be asking you to do things. But since you asked politely I will show myself."

The large brute walked out of the forest. His claws remained un-sheathed. He didn't know what the intentions of the brute was but he would play along until he found out. His dark eyes examined the brute more closely then what he had done in the forest. He stopped about six tail lengths in front of the brute. His mane shifted with the wind as he stood in silence. He at the moment was not being aggressive. He had no need to until he found out what the brute was up to.

The larger brute glared at the lion. He circled the brute, examining him. Yes he had a body that was built to the liking of his. But he wasn't sure of the brutes personaility. His tail flicked into the air behind him. Many moments passed before he spoke.

"What do you think makes you qualified to join this pride."

This time his voice wasn't the polite tone. But a firm one. One that reminded the lion that he was a dark king. That he was the darkness. And eventually the lion would learn that he was the devil.

The male lion shook his mane and glared at the brute. His dark eyes watching the brute. After many moments he stopped right infront of the brute. His eyes locked on with his. He took in the scent of the brute and then spoke. Keeping his eyes locked on.

"Speak your name, then explain. And then we will see what other things we will do to test your...skills."

His tail flicked, and he took a step back. To let the brute speak. A small breeze passed over playing with the long fur in his mane. The mane twisted in the air as time quickly passed. Soon it was over and silence and stillness was all that was seen. Atleast from the kings point of view.
